Boutique firm.
Enterprise-level depth.
We are the people you call when the CRM stopped being an asset and started being the thing everyone works around. Former operators who rebuild the revenue lifecycle systems B2B SaaS teams actually run on, and yes, we are genuinely nerds about it.
Two operators who got tired of inheriting broken systems.
We did not start here as consultants. We started as the people on the hook for the number, building pipeline, defending the forecast, and quietly fixing the CRM at night so the dashboard would stop lying to the board.
What we kept running into was the same pattern: great teams, real budget, a stack of best-in-class tools, and a revenue system nobody trusted. Stages that meant six different things. Two reports of the same metric that never matched. Attribution that was basically a séance. The team was not the problem. The system was.
So we built The Sales Nerd to fix that, properly. We rebuild the revenue lifecycle end to end in Salesforce and HubSpot (the stages, the handoffs, the attribution, the reporting your whole team trusts), and we stay until your people run it without us. Boutique attention, enterprise depth, shipped faster than a big firm can quote you.
We are called The Sales Nerd for a reason. We get genuinely excited about clean stage definitions. We are not sorry.
The two Michaels.
Former operators who carried the number before they rebuilt the system behind it.
Michael Venman
FounderVenman has partnered with revenue leaders from pre-revenue startups to $300M+ enterprises. He built his first sales team at Talroo, ran RevOps at Hearth, then from 2019 to 2022 led the Sales and Marketing practices at SaaS Consulting Group across PE portfolios under Vista, ST6, and TA Associates. He founded The Sales Nerd in 2022. Boston, then Austin, now Barcelona.
Michael Kraus
The Marketing NerdKraus has spent 13+ years living inside marketing-automation platforms: HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, and Pardot. He is the one who makes the marketing engine actually run, tying strategy to programs that hold together across the whole customer lifecycle instead of falling apart at the handoff. If it involves a lifecycle stage, a lead score, or a nurture that has to behave, that is his corner.
The operators behind the build.
Behind the two of us is a network of senior operators we have worked alongside for years, many of them people we have known far longer than that. They have run these systems inside real companies and still do. We bring in the right ones for the problem in front of you, not a bench of juniors learning on your budget.
Marketing automation
Lifecycle, lead scoring, and nurtures that behave, built by people who have run these platforms at scale.
CRM & RevOps architecture
The data model, stages, routing, and handoffs, designed so the whole revenue system tells one story.
Customer success & retention
Health scores, playbooks, and renewal motions that catch churn before the QBR does.
BI & reporting
The dashboards leadership actually trusts, tied back to one source of truth instead of three that disagree.
Backend & product engineering
Past config into real integration work, custom objects, and product-grade builds when the platform runs out of room.
Clay & AI
Enrichment, data workflows, and AI put to work on the heavy lifting, so the system runs faster and leaner.
Four things we will not compromise on.
Operators, not slide-makers
We carried the number before we rebuilt the systems behind it. Every recommendation has survived contact with a real quota.
The fix is ranked by what it costs you
No 40-page audit. We hand you the gaps worst-first, in dollars, so you always know what to fix Monday morning.
We stay until the team runs it
Most firms finish at go-live. That is exactly where the build usually dies. We leave when your team runs it without us.
Built faster, with AI in the loop
Boutique attention, enterprise depth, and a build pace a big firm cannot match, because we put AI to work on the heavy lifting.
Let’s make your revenue system the boring, reliable one.
The kind that just works, that the board believes, and that your team forgets to complain about. Book a call and we’ll show you where it’s leaking in the first conversation.
